All you need to do is plug it in and follow instructions and you will be staying cool all evening. Some people say, why not just take off more blankets? A Bad Mattress
The next thing to look at if you are having trouble sleeping is the mattress itself. While studies are saying that a soft mattress is bad for you, these are only true to a certain extent. Soft mattresses are healthy for you, it is only when they sink to an extreme amount that they begin to cause a problem. All of these studies and statements have resulted in people buying extremely firm and hard mattresses.
As a result, people have trouble sleeping on these every night as they are not as comfortable as a standard mattress would be. For those who enjoyed a firm mattress, this was great. They got the comfort and sleep that they needed. On the other end, millions of people ended up sleeping with mattresses that they were not enjoying.
When shopping for mattresses, ensure that you find one that you are truly happy with. Try them out and lay on them at the store. Don’t settle for anything less than what you would want. If you want to make the most out of your sleep and ensure you wake up every morning refreshed, pick up a mattress that you are comfortable with.
Lack of Exercise and Activity
Sleep is supposed to be the time of night when you regain all the energy that you spent during the day. If you did not exercise and move about, you will have burned almost zero energy. As a result of this, you can expect yourself to lay in bed for a while as your body is not tired and is unable to fall asleep.
If you want to be able to sleep every night consistently, ensure that you are going outside and getting some sort of activity in. Tire your body out so that it actually needs sleep. Just think of babies for example, as most parents will tire them out before putting them to sleep. Even though you are an adult, you are no different. Ensure that you are getting some activity so your body can feel tired when it is time to go to bed.
By following and correcting all of these bad habits and situations, you can put yourself in a position to get more and more sleep each night. Your life will also improve significantly as a result.
