The vicinity has several quality independent restaurants and also cheap eats, greengrocers, delis and a proper butcher and it's just a 20 min stroll along the seafront or short bus ride into the centre of Brighton. Hove station is a 10 minute walk, Brighton station is about the same on the bus.
