Tropea.
Tropea stands on an imposing sandstone cliff, in a charming position between the Gulf of Sant’Eufemia and Gioia Tauro, and is one of the most artistically interesting and picturesque centres in the Vibo Valentia province. The area still holds traces of ancient prehistoric settlements, alongside buildings and burial passages dating back to Greek and Roman times.
