Zamora information, Spain

West of Spain can be found Zamora, a province included in the Castile and Leon autonomous community. Because of it is located in the west tip of the country, Zamora is serving as another boundary between Spain and the neighboring country of Portugal. Surrounding provinces are Leon, Salamanca, Ourense and Valladolid. The capital city of Zamora is located in a rocky hill. Currently, the city is named as the 'museum of Romanesque art'. The prevailing climate in the city, just like in the whole of the province, is Mediterranean. That means hot summers and very cold winters. Rain falls usually during autumn and spring and tend not to be visible and not fall down during summer of winter.
