Eastern Spain is the site where the province of Tarragona can be found. Tarragona is the southern portion of an autonomous region known as Catalonia. There is also a thriving wine industry in the province. Because of that, it is expected that you would find dozens or more of major vineyards. Romesco and Calcotoda are local specialties that are also popularized by the province. Because Tarragona is a fishing and a marine province, expect that fish dishes are also source of pride.
