Las Palmas The canary Islands is part of a province in Spain that is called Las Palmas. Geographically, the province is consisting of about close to half of the Spanish archipelago in the across the Atlantic Ocean. The other half of the Spanish archipelago in the Atlantic is within the jurisdiction and territories of another province, Las Palmas’ closest neighboring province of Sta. Cruz de Tenerife.
