Guadalajara information, Spain

Guadalajara Guadalajara is considered as one of the most obscure provinces in Spain, in terms of tourism. That is because tourists hardly know the province. Unlike other Spanish provinces, Guadalajara is not that rich in terms of historical landmarks and scenic spots. But there are a few sights that would surely never fail to captivate any visitor’s heart.

The lack of interesting feature of Guadalajara may be attributed to its geographic location. Guadalajara is located in the central part of the country. It is in the north of the Castile-La Mancha region. The province is surrounded by Madrid, Teruel, Cuenca, Segovia, Zaragoza and Soria.

Guadalajara is a province with a small population. As of the latest inhabitants count, the province has just over 200,000 in population. The province has 288 municipalities. Interestingly, 75% of those municipalities are made of small to big villages that have populations of below 200. That means, there are still many areas in Guadalajara that needs development.

The small population and ratio to land area could clearly indicate that Guadalajara could potentially become a haven for property developments. Because there is still too much land area to till and develop, it can be inferred that land parcel prices are significantly lower in valuation. It is practically cheaper to acquire and own properties in the area.

If you are considering buying properties for commercial or residential purposes in Guadalajara, it would be some sort of motivation to take note of the prevailing climate and general weather condition. The province is at its best during the seasons of spring and autumn. Summers are just okay and winters are literally not that cold. Thus, there are too many physical activities that people could do while in Guadalajara.

Because there are no beaches around, people do water activities at the Henares River. There are also areas for water activities like the Entrepeñas, Buendia and Lagos. Even if there are no major water bodies around, you could make sure that there are ways on how Guadalajarans could make water activities fun and possible.

As for the vegetation of the land, the soil is overly productive and good for tiling. Cultivation of different crops can be a good venture or leisure for the people with green thumb. There are many agricultural businesses that are starting to put up operations in the area.

The capital city of Guadalajara is also named Guadalajara. There is a bit of Renaissance ambiance in the city, perhaps because of the many old structures that can be found in it. The churches of Santiago, Santa Maria, San Gines and San Francisco are obvious reminders and indication of the periodic type of architecture in the area.

The valleys of Sorbe and Bornoba can be a potential good spot for real estate investments. Upper Tajo valley could also do so. That ie because in these areas, the climate is good, the geographic location is strategic and the surroundings are simply A-okay. Fishing and hunting could be readily done in the areas. There are already a number of real estate developers that are starting to flock the valleys.
