Cordoba information, Spain

Cordoba In the southern portion of Spain lies Cordoba, a province where fishing, farming and mining can be prosperously done. There are several rivers that are flowing across the province, which have been providing natives and folk with freshwater fish and animals for consumption. The rivers also provide water supply and irrigation to the rich and arable lands that enable Cordoban farmers to tilt the land and produce bountiful harvests of important crops.

Within Cordoba can be found portions of Sierra Morena mountain ranges. The mountain not only facilitates for hunting activities and wood production. It also enables miners to source out reserves of various minerals and elements. Through the years, mining explorations in the area have yielded promising results. Tons of reserves of copper, tin, aluminum and other important minerals have been abundantly mined in Cordoba.

The province ranks as the 13th most populous in the whole of Spain, reaching close to about 800,000 currently. Up to 40% of the population have their settlements and homes situated in the capital city also called Cordoba. Cordoba as a province has 75 average- to large-sized municipalities.

The city of Cordoba is very much historical. Not too many people know that Cordoba used to be one of the most significant and busiest cities across the whole of Europe. What is more interesting is that during the 11th century, Cordoba became a city, which served as a hub where Christians, Muslims and Jews alike lived harmoniously together in one city. That is interesting enough because you know how these groups of people could never do so in the past and even up to now.

Aside from the interaction of vast and distinct cultures, Cordoba city also produced many artists, scientists and philosophers of the past. Aside from that, the city is also known for its locally specialized dishes like fried breadcrumbs, fried fish and chicken topped with pepitoria sauce. Wines from Moriles and Montilla along with several Arab deserts are also produced in Cordoba.

As for various cultural activities, Cordoba is very well known as a site where Flamenco is widely and popularly danced. No other folk and dancers could dance Flamenco more gracefully than Cordobans could. That could be because it is in the city where the native Spanish dance has originated. Bullfighting is also one dangerous activity that has been catching the interests of lots of tourists.

The weather is very much temperate with the months of June to September as the hottest. Temperature drops from November until March every year. The average rainfall is just normal and adequate for crop cultivation.

Real estate in Cordoba is still very much promising. There is a rising number of property developers that are starting to swoon over the province to develop and establish beautiful and attractive commercial and residential centers. Just like many other Spanish provinces, Cordoba is a real estate haven where nature and modernization merges harmoniously. Invest in local assets in the beautiful Cordoba and realize the promising features of the province.
