If you are considering investing into Asturian real estate, you would also find that the climate of the region is very much ideal. Because of Asturias is found in the north coast area and it has several mountain ranges, expect that the general weather and climate is also diverse and highly pronounced. Generally, the prevailing climate in the region is very much better than the weather prevailing over the southern regions of the country.

In Asturias, summers are usually very warm and humid, though there is not much sunshine. Winters are mild, but there are episodes of very cold snaps. Logically, areas near the Asturian mountains are experiencing cold weathers during winter. You could actually see that mountain tops are covered by white snow during the months of November to May. Winter is also the season when you can expect regular sunshine and rain.

As for the infrastructure, roads are fully developed and are connected to the main highways that interconnect the rest of the country. There is an international airport within Asturias, the Asturias International Airport, and of course, a main port called the Port of Gijon or El Musel. The national train service, RENFE rail, is also serving the region well.
